Graduates with first class degrees High calibre graduates*postgraduates required for software developer in Berkshire. You must have a first class degrees in Maths, Physics or Engineering from Oxford, Cambridge, St Andrews or Bristol universities (the following universities may also be considered for students with a postgraduate degree: Nottingham, Imperial, UCL, Bath, Warwick, Durham, Edinburgh, York and Birmingham). You must also have 4 (preferably 5) A`s at A-level (not counting General Studies), and a PhD or a postgraduate degree. STEP results in Maths are also important. Only applicants who meet ALL these requirements will be considered. You will be working on the development of manufacturing scheduling software and distribution optimisation systems in C++ and Java, with some work in Prolog. Highly competitive package and very good prospects for candidates who can demonstrate exceptional analytical and reasoning abilities. Experience is not necessary but applicants with relevant work or other software development background will attract higher starting salaries.
